Klamath Falls

We got a heck of a deal on a timeshare years and years ago when Dan used to slang em'. We actually got some good use out of it. Although we're not the "plan your vacation 2 years in advance" kind of people. I love how "getting vacation time" or "my two weeks" isn't even in our vocabulary. So since kiddos, vacas have waned a bit. We realized we needed to use our timeshare by the end of the year or we lose the points. We didn't want to fly anywhere. So on last minute availability, in driving distance...wahoo we've landed in Klamath Falls, OR. It just so happens to be the bird sanctuary of the country, where flocks of raptors, ducks, geese, comorants, egrets and hundreds of other species migrate to. I'm looking forward to getting lost in the small town local goodness. We are going offline to play for a week!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was filled with family embraces, moments of gratitude, feasting on turkey and intellectual conversations. Topics included European politics, travel conditions in Laos and Cambodia, presidential history and chiropractic. Friends traveled from as far away as Vienna, Austria to spend Thanksgiving with us. They must have heard about the special chestnut stuffing that has been passed on in our family for generations. Yes I helped myself to 3 servings! Baby Mia was held by every single person and the only peeps from her were her coos of laughter as she was ooohed and aaahed over. Brodie was such a joy to all as he soaked up some precious family loving. Hope your Thanksgiving was filled with warmth, comfort and happiness...

5 Things I Love on Thanksgiving

Merry Thanksgiving my lovlies! Lindsey and Jaden have said goodbye. We love them so so much. I got to take pictures for their holiday cards and am aching to post some but I will not. I will hand them over to Lindsey, let her pick her faves and together we'll design a super custom Christmas composition!

My parents backyard is still brimming over with color, so festive and perfect...

We are spending the day in Apple Hill at Grammy, Grampy, Auntie Ellen and Uncle John's house. I am so thankful for all the many blessings in my life. I am grateful most of all for the health and happiness of my friends, my family and myself. Thank you...

Zephyr

Zephyr Cove is our second home, especially in the summer. But we also love the offseason, when all of the crowds have retreated into their nice warm homes and distant cities, leaving the beaches abandoned and OURS. We noticed some misty cloud formations through our window and wanted to watch it live at Zephyr. We arrived at the opening of the golden hour, and stayed to the finale of a purple and pink dusk...

3. Dan and Brodie can keep their milk chocolate...this is my kind of chocolate. Extra dark, extra strong...
